I have had one heck of a day. My computer apparently had severe water damage. Won’t know until Thursday if it can be fixed.
Late to one lecture because my phone didn’t update the information so i thought it was in the wrong place about two blocks away.
Somehow convinced myself i didn’t have a lecture when i really did in Scotland & Orality. And the book i needed to read was checked out of the library by the time i finally got access to the course’s information on Learn (our uni’s online course document trunk).
Did my shopping, but made me miss my lecture (which i didn’t know i had, recall). All just adds up to more money being spent anyway…-sigh-
Positives. Met this really interest proprietor of a health food shop that specializes in Isreali and Mediterranean products. This wonderful greying man gave me free sample after free sample. Then, he gave me free hummus and a lentil roll for buying a pack of spelt flour crackers (yesterday).
Oh, let me mention he also* served me hot spicy chai tea.
Beeeeaaaaauuuutiful~ on the rainy scottish days when its windy and/or rugged.
Now yesterday was an atypical tea day. He just happened to be at the store. Swo toooday when it was real tea day (b/c uk has real and nonreal tea days), I walk in quarter after seven. Oh no! Shops are usually closed in UK!
But not my free spicy chai tea hummus and flapjack and falafal and other homemade goodies sample agent.
He was all waiting to tell me stories of his multiple income properties in the city and how his new apartment in Edinburgh has a shower people could dance in.
I even got two free lentil rolls. c: Mmmmmm~! Pastry flour is soooo bad for you! But freedom and stories are worth every extra mile on the cycle tomorrow morning…
